THE MODEL
An automotive network to browse and compare.
The model is inspired by review platforms such as Tripadvisor, applied to automotive companies and connected to digital evidence on blockchain. CarlinAdvisor is an independent project: it is not affiliated with Tripadvisor.
Company profiles
Company name, headquarters, contact details, and official channels. Each verification should indicate its scope, date, and updated status.
Customer experiences
Reviews indicating the available evidence, company responses, and procedures for reports and disputes.
PROTECTION AGAINST IMPERSONATION
The badge leads to the official page.
In the planned model, a CarlinAdvisor link or QR code will open the page on the official domain. Customers will be able to compare the offer’s website, phone number, and social profile with the company’s recognized channels. An image of a badge alone can be copied: the check concerns the updated page and the listed channels.
Identified company
The company’s existence and authorized representative, to be verified through appropriate sources and checks.
Readable verifications
Affiliation, corporate identity, and product checks are separate information, with dates and possible expiration dates.
Updatable statuses
Reviews, suspensions, and revocations, with public criteria and a dispute procedure.
BLOCKCHAIN AND REVIEWS
A verifiable history, with real checks.
We plan to record evidence of the existence and version of certain verifications and events. Documents, order data, and review texts will remain off-chain, with access, moderation, and removal rules. A record does not automatically prove the truthfulness of a review.
